Who wants to do menial tasks, such as running errands, all alone? LA is lonely enough. And with that LA schedule, the only quality time you might get with your dog (hopefully a rescue) is when you’re shopping!

You may wonder, “But what if it’s against the rules or even the law to take my dog to my favorite stores? I don’t have time to Google that!”

You’re in good hands. Let me tell you, it is absolutely illegal according to Section 114259.5 of the California Health and Safety Code, if that store sells food. And that would mean cutting out a lot of vital “errand running” stores!

Never fear. In LA, dogs are above the law because most Angelenos know that dogs are higher than humans. They are angels from Heaven and angels can go wherever they want.

3Target

You tell yourself, “I’m just going to run to Target for some saran wrap.” Who are you kidding? You know you’re going to leave with so much more! Including fabulous memories with your dog. YES, it’s illegal to go to Target with your dog because they too, sell food. But Target employees will keep their mouth shut because they know your dog’s hair is angel’s hair! And angel hair is probably good for you.

2CVS

You say, “I’ll just be a minute. I just need nasal spray.” But you know the line is slow as hell at CVS. You’re going to be spending a lot of time in there – one on one time with your little pookie! CVS sells food too, but employees know to keep their lip zipped if your dog has a little “accident” near the dairy section, because it’s so sweet to watch angels pee.

1Whole Foods

You think, “I just have to grab some baby carrots.” But you know Whole Foods is a wonderland you and your little baby need to explore. Whole Foods is a straight up food store, but most of their employees know better than to open their trap if your dogs licks a few meat and cheese samples. In fact, all the better! Dog licks = Angel kisses.
