After a recent vacation to Los Angeles, the very fabric of the McMiller family nearly ripped apart at the seams after they were devastated by a lack of celebrities seen while vacationing in Hollywood.

The McMiller’s had a picturesque vacation planned with stops in Malibu, Disneyland, LA’s art museums, and stops at all Los Angeles hot spots. Tracy McMiller, who had been planning and looking forward to this vacation for over a year, said “I planned all the stops around locations I knew would give the most opportunities for celebrity sightings. There’s no greater joy in life than spotting a celebrity out in public.”

The disappointment began almost immediately for the McMillers. “We were overlooking the vastness of the Pacific Ocean while standing on cliffs in Malibu,” said Tracy McMiller, “but if you look at my smile in those photos, you can tell that I’m not truly happy in life because I didn’t see one celebrity here.”

Tracey McMiller is not the only member that experienced severe depression while on vacation. Her sister, Rhonda McMiller recounts, “My husband smiled for the first time since losing his job after we got off AstroBlaster, but I used the last picture on my disposable camera after turning to snap a photo of someone I thought was Brad Pitt. How stupid of me to think Brad Pitt would be walking around Disneyland like a simpleton with my family.”

The McMiller’s, who hail from the hills of Montana, usually pick more scenic vacation locations like the Appalachian Trail and the Pacific Northwest. They opted to switch it up this year after a glowing recommendation from their 89 year old uncle, Frank McMiller. “I knew I could die a happy and complete man after seeing celebrities during my vacation to Hollywood,” said Frank McMiller, “I saw George Clooney, Angelina Jolie, and even some of them Twilight kids people love these days.” After returning from their vacation, the McMiller’s broke the tragic news to Uncle Frank that these were only wax replicas of celebrities that he must have seen when visiting the world famous Hollywood Wax Museum. After hearing this news, Frank McMiller packed a bag and set off into the Montana wilderness claiming he’d “rather die alone than live here with the shame of claiming to have seen celebrities.”

The Los Angeles Tourism & Convention Board released a statement saying, “A celebrity sighting is never guaranteed when visiting Los Angeles. Please visit Los Angeles for it’s beautiful scenery, expansive museums, and diverse cultural experiences.”
